“Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation.” ~ Matthew 23:36
Jesus spoke this in 30 A.D. and his prophecy against the temple and the teachers of the law that day came to pass with amazing and undeniable accuracy just as he said it would and when he said that it would.
It all came down in 70 A.D. in the end of that generation. Forty years later. Forty years is one biblical generation. That generation that he spoke it in was the generation he was referring to.
Not our generation.
This prophecy had nothing to do with 2017 or 2018 or 2020 or 2032 or 2050… and so on…
The horrendous and horrible Roman Siege that took place starting on the 9th of Av in 70 A.D. and lasted for 11 months killing millions of Jews, destroying the temple and ridding Israel of the levitical priesthood (while Christians and followers of The Way fled to the mountains for safety) was all fulfilled in that generation.
I can’t submit to or endorse teachers that impose these old historical events over the heads of our up and coming future generations.
I do not teach my children that “We Are Living In The End Times.” I tell them that their generation could be the generation that gets access to clean drinking water to everyone on this planet.
I tell them that they can be the generation that figures out how to end world poverty and starvation.
I teach my kids that they can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens them and with The Wisdom of God that they can be the generation that fills the whole Earth (as the waters cover the sea) with The Knowledge and The Glory of The Goodness of The Lord.
I tell them that they could be the generation that ushers in Peace on Earth and brings The Healing of Our Lord to The Nations.
I tell my kids that it’s not ending but rather how important it is that we all get empowered and started.
Finishing what Jesus began.
Thy Kingdom Come and Thy Will Be Done Here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
In His Love, pastor Scott Adrian Boggs
