In the days of Abraham, God winged a child-sacrifice culture off of kids onto lambs.

2000 years later, Christ sacrificed his own life, standing up to those enforcers of animal sacrifice….

As he was being crucified, he yelled, “It is finished,” and just as he said, 40 years later, the temple, the temple tax, and that whole system of slaying animals came to a fiery end.
