In the days of Abraham God winged a child sacrificing culture off of kids onto lambs.

2000 years later Christ sacrificed his own life standing up to those enforcers of animal sacrifice….

As he was being crucified he yelled “It is finished” and just as he said 40 years later the temple, the temple tax, and that whole system of slaying animals came to a firey end.
