Thought-provoking, yes…. Not political.

People going to war over dwindling non-renewable resources?

Rhetoric like “Bomb the oil, take the oil”.

How about all of us worldwide working together again to invest in a greener Earth and future for our children, harnessing renewable energy like free wind and warmth from our sun, in all its inexhaustible and bountiful supply, to provide more than enough energy for us all?

The former (often accomplished by militant occupation and devastating effects on our Oceans, Earth, and Sky) may continue to profit from the generational gains of petroleum investors and their families…

I get that, but at the expense of leaving the majority of our children’s children’s children countless more deaths and continued climate change catastrophes, whereas the latter could lead us all now in unity and solidarity on something good, leaving our children a healthier planet and a happier human race living in greater peace and in harmony with all of creation…

It’s just a no-brainer to me.

Let me add that I have nothing invested in the stock market at this time. So I’m not speaking from a place where my money is.

I simply believe with nothing to gain or lose that the right direction to go in this present debate is as clear as the noonday sun.

It’s like the answer has been hanging right over our heads and flowing in out of our lungs with every new breath…

Unfortunately, people’s love of those portfolio gains still seems to remain at the root of so much evil.
