I get accused a lot of being a bleeding heart liberal.
If that is because I defend those who are different.
Denounce wars that take the lives, displace, and starve tens of thousands of innocent bystanders.
Do not endorse the demonizing and vilifying of addicts, the mentally ill, and the homeless without adequate funding for programs looking to their care, therapy, and rehabilitation.
And I disagree with the detaining and deporting of good, hard-working immigrants who have been here in the States for years seeking safety, opportunity, freedom, and sanctuary.
I believe I can agree on other things conservatively, but in these areas of my own non-partisan Christian morals and convictions…
I do stand my ground.
Let me add, I also am not a fan in the least of these rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer politics.
And I don’t like bullies and people who make fun of others.
God love and correct them, but know it’s not my thing.
It goes against the practice of my Love and Faith.
As a Minister of Christ, my imploring has always been “Love One Another” even when we are different and don’t agree on everything.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
These are not just words; these are the words of Jesus.
My Lord and Savior.
